Run-for-the-Roses

The first annual Run for the Roses ride was held Saturday, October 3, 2009 in
memory of Rachel & Lilly Rose Entwistle to benefit the fight against Domestic Violence
and Child Abuse.

The Matterazzo family, the Run-for-the-Roses team and the Norfolk Advocates for
Children would like to thank you, our friends, families and sponsors for coming out
today to support such a worthy cause. We are proud to call you our friends.

Rachel too, would be very proud.

We were amazed and inspired by those that weathered the storm while riding their
bikes and or corvettes on such a miserable rainy day. You are truely champions for
the cause and dispite the weather the event was amazingly successful, largely due to
people like you.

We hope you enjoyed the event and were lucky with the raffles.
